Troop 343 is a fun, non-profit organization for boys from the ages of 10 to 18 that prepares them to make ethical choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. The Troop was chartered by Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 16075 N. Evans Road in Selma, Texas on May 12, 1998. Cub scout Pack 343 is also chartered by OLPH and is the Troop's affiliate organization for young boys from the ages of 6 to 10.
The Troop meets every Monday night from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM (except for the 2nd Monday of the month). Meetings are held in the Parish school cafeteria. The 2nd Monday of each month is generally reserved for the meeting of the Patrol Leader's Council from 6:45 PM to 7:30 PM and the Troop Adult Committee Meeting from 7:45 PM to 8:45 PM.
